Today I’m featuring a special guest poet who found this poem coming to her
in much the same way that they show up for me. Bravo, Ma!

“Propitious,” a word
seldom used these days,
or, perhaps,
any days,
popped up in
conversation, and,
prompted the question:
What would it be like
as a prompt
for my wordsmithing
daughter,
who effortlessly pours
gems
onto the written page
for all to read
and treasure
thru their evolving day?

propitious: (adj) full of promise, advantageous; favorably inclined

so tender. Look at the two of you, shining together. Lucky you!
Thanks, Amrita!
Thank you, Jan.

You’ve been a poet all along, Ma! Glad poems are leaking out of you and that you’re capturing them. Keep on poeting!
Absolutely inspiring!
Thanks, Gloria… I suspect she’s been poeting for years and is now recognizing that and capturing some of them!
Wonderful…Also, while it might feel like you’re throwing your precious poems into the untethered internet void, I read them and rejuvenate myself daily – gentle reminders of the richness of life and not to let it pass by uncelebrated.
